Robert Siep succeeds Peter Habraken as CFO at Mosaic World

Robert Siep will start as the new CFO of Mosaic World in July. He succeeds Peter Habraken, who after thirteen years embarks on a new adventure outside Mosaic World. Siep previously held this role at Modern Dental Europe, Sentia Group and Meatless Farm and therefore brings a broad experience as CFO. At Mosaic World, he will, among other things, help the team with the preparations for the previously announced plans for a possible IPO in 2023.

Jolijn van den Hengel and Wouter Ommeslag have also joined the management team of Mosaic World. Chief Operations Officer Ommeslag previously held various management positions at Facilicom Group Belgium. Van den Hengel has grown from within organization to the role of Chief Commercial Officer. With these three appointments, Mosaic World completes its strategic recalibration. At the beginning of this year, CEO Patricia Ghering launched the new strategy of the company and the five brands that together offer a total solution for the creation of new (social rental) homes, area development and their maintenance.

Robert Siep

After CFO Peter Habraken indicated that he was looking for a new adventure outside the organization, Mosaic World started a search for a new CFO at the beginning of this year. Siep's knowledge and experience with all kinds of financing issues, including preparing for an IPO and investor relations, is what Mosaic World was looking for in a new CFO. At the Eindhoven-based company, he will focus on continuous improvement and further transformation of the Finance organization.

Mosaic World CEO Patricia Ghering: "With his track record, Peter has made a great contribution to the development of the company. We are very grateful for that. We are also pleased that we have found a worthy successor with Robert. From the first meeting there was an immediate click and I look forward to continuing to build this wonderful company together with Robert."

Robert Siep is happy with the challenge Mosaic world offers him. "After a first message, I started to read about the company and became increasingly enthusiastic, specifically because of the many innovative housing solutions. I think it's amazing how Mosaic World has developed in recent years and I'm proud to be part of the future."

Jolijn van den Hengel and Wouter Ommeslag

Mosaic World also announces that Jolijn van den Hengel has been given a new role. As Managing Director Customer Relations, she has reshaped the entire customer journey of the company. As Chief Commercial Officer, she is now responsible for all commercial activities of Mosaic World in Europe. From her new position, she has also joined the management team of Mosaic World, which, in addition to Patricia Ghering, CFO Robert Siep and Wouter Ommeslag, also consists of B-Right Urban Living director Olaf Terpstra and Michiel Swank, director WatchTower Security Solutions.

The new Chief Operations Officer Wouter Ommeslag brings a lot of experience in facility management and business operations. In his last role as Managing Director at Facilicom Solutions in Belgium, he was responsible for integral facility services to clients, including the operational activities at Brussels Airport. At Mosaic World, he is tasked with implementing a uniform operation in all European activities, according to ISO 9001 established standards.

Ghering is pleased that with Van den Hengel and Ommeslag she has completed her management team. "With their commercial and facility experience, Jolijn and Wouter add the right knowledge to bring the operational excellence that we strive for to an even higher level. A first step is a uniform European working method, from picking up a project to returning the key to the owner. By introducing new systems, major steps forward are now being taken there. This allows us to manage, monitor and, where necessary, improve our activities from Helsinki to Madrid in an even manner. Jolijn and Wouter help us to further implement our vision of Reshaping Urban Living Together."

"I'm happy with the trust I'm getting from Patricia and my colleagues at Mosaic World," says Van den Hengel. "Mosaic World distinguishes itself with real estate solutions with an eye for all those involved, which also makes it fun to do. We create new concepts, not only with our client, but we also involve the environment. A good example of this is a vacant monumental estate with outbuildings in Copenhagen, where we combine fifty furnished homes with high-quality workplaces for a local sports marketing agency, but also offer a conference room, two doctors reside and have realized a studio for artists. The team has added something truly unique to the city of Copenhagen."
