Opposite the iconic Evoluon building in Eindhoven, a new headquarters for Mosaic World will be built in the coming years. The municipality of Eindhoven has published the permit application for the construction of a 2,400 m2 office. The project will be realised by B-Right Urban Living, and besides office space, it will also provide space for 75 rental homes in the social and middle rental segment.
Projects by B-Right Urban Living are recognisable by a smart mix of working and living spaces combined with communal spaces. Mosaic World's new headquarters is no different to this. Besides the Mosaic World office and meeting spaces, the building also includes 75 flats and 300 m2 of communal spaces. A semi-underground car park, roof terraces and a large auditorium contribute to the living/working pleasure and sense of community of the users and residents.
Efficient and sustainable
To use the spaces as efficiently as possible and encourage a sense of community, residents of the complex can also use facilities of the Mosaic World office outside office hours. For example, meeting rooms can be used for a consultation with the residents' committee, or the auditorium for watching a film with residents on a big screen.
Sustainability also played an important role in the design, with, among other things, shared cars for both residents and neighbours, green roofs with solar panels and integrated bat boxes in the facade.
Cooperation
For this project, B-Right Urban Living works together with KCAP architects, structural engineer IMd and consultant Nelissen. A construction team has been formed with Janssen de Jong Bouw to carry out the construction of the new office/living complex. Demolition of the current building will start in the coming weeks. Following this, construction will start on the new building, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
