Rakli nominated Mushrooming

With great enthusiasm we learned that the Finnish association of property owners, Rakli, has nominated MUSHROOMING Helsinki for the year’s Work Environment Act competition.

RAKLI is the most comprehensive and influential organization for professional property owners, real estate investors, business premises management and developers in Finland.

For the fourth year RAKLI and IFMA Finland hosts the Work Environment Act competition inviting companies to nominate innovative and socially impactful work-environment activity during the year. The 2022 competition will focus on the best measures in work environment management and development during 2021.

This year we are proud to announce MUSHROOMING Helsinki for the year’s Work Environment Act! Mushrooming Helsinki are partnered with Monoma Finland to brings agility to the post-corona work culture and the commissioning of empty office properties.

Previously, empty properties and their potential users have not encountered, but the cooperation between Mushrooming ry and Monoma facilitates these encounters. The aim of the co-operation is to create communal workspaces that are personal and have a small core group. Large companies can also rent a workstation to their employees. The first tenant to co-operate was the Helsinki Urban Art Association, and similar experiments are planned for other premises as well.

Monoma Finland has offered various workspaces across the country to be used within this Mushrooming project. Among 25 other Nominations, the winner will be announced at the end of the year. With the pace of Monoma and the Mushrooming concept, we look with anticipation and expectation to win the title this year.

In order to promote small creative businesses and cultivate a culture of coworking, networking, and sharing, Mushrooming is developed and run by the Mushrooming association on a non-commercial and voluntarily basis. We want it to be experimental and see what happens when creative minds come together and go public. We think that is what sets us apart from other coworking services.

The mushrooming phenomenon, which began in Helsinki in 2010, is now spreading to other Finnish cities and countries. As a result, Network of Mushrooming is spreading from the ground up, resulting in an unexpectedly diverse spectrum of creative spaces and individuals, from artists to yoga rooms.

Mushrooming Helsinki have highlighted the collaboration with Monoma Finland to be the leading contributor for the nomination of the year’s Work Environment Act competition by Rakli.
